A Cozy In-Home Maternity Session Captured on 35mm Film | Amanda & Paul

There’s something so special about photographing couples through different seasons of their lives. Amanda and Paul have been in front of my camera three times now—first for their engagement session, then their wedding, and now, as they await the arrival of their little one. It’s an absolute privilege to document their journey, and this maternity session at their home in Denver was nothing short of magical.

We opted to shoot the entire session on 35mm film, a choice that felt perfect for the intimate and nostalgic vibe of an in-home maternity shoot. Film has a way of capturing warmth and emotion in a way that digital often can’t replicate—it’s raw, timeless, and beautifully imperfect, much like the journey to parenthood itself.
