Foothills Engagement Session in Boise | Sophie & Kyle

I met up with Sophie and Kyle in the foothills just outside of Boise for their engagement session, and we couldn’t have asked for a better evening. The light was soft, the air was still, and the hills stretched out around us in every direction—a quiet little pocket away from the city.

These two have such an easy, relaxed energy together. Nothing felt forced. We wandered along the trails, stopped wherever the light hit just right, and let the session unfold naturally. It was simple, beautiful, and very them.

Sophie and Kyle are getting married later this year in Stanley, Idaho—one of the most breathtaking corners of the state. I can’t wait to photograph their day up there surrounded by the Sawtooths. But until then, here are a few favorites from their session in the hills.
