Intimate Wedding in Crested Butte, Colorado
In the majestic mountains of Colorado, nestled amidst breathtaking landscapes, lies the picturesque town of Crested Butte. Over the years, Victoria and Clay have spent many weekends exploring this quaint Colorado town and knew that they wanted to get married here. In August 2020, they invited their closest family and friends for an intimate escape to the mountains to celebrate their love.
Their ceremony was held on private land owned by the city of Crested Butte, called Wood Walks Trailhead. If you and your partner are interested in reserving this space for your celebration contact The Crested Butte Land Trust. The Trailhead was a 5-minute drive from town and very easily accessible. As guests arrived, Lizzy Plotkin played the violin and soothed the ears of everyone while they took their seats. Victoria and Clay read their personal vows to each other and professed their love under the head of the Colorado sun. This location was perfect for their intimate wedding and served as an incredible backdrop for Victoria and Clay’s ceremony.
After their ceremony guests were shuttled to the reception location, Billy Barr Community Center. Although this venue does not usually allow weddings, it was the ideal space for Victoria and Clay. Slater Events and Feast Dinner Party designed and set up a magical dinner party space with custom menus and long tables to facilitate flowing conversation and laughs. As the moon rose and the temperature dropped, delicious food and wine were served, dancing commenced and many guests stood up to say kind words about the couple.
This wedding was the start of my saying, “The tiny moments you never knew were there”, throughout the day and night I really focused on capturing candid moments of Victoria and Clay and their loved ones.
